My goal is to give you all the tools you need to welcome your baby in to your family.
I started the process of becoming a Birth Doula in 2010. The birth of my son in 2009 opened my eyes to all the amazing things that birth could be. But it also helped me see that things could go sideways, and that support from hospital staff was not a guarantee. I vowed then to support families to bring their baby’s in whatever way I could going forward.
I became certified as a Birth Doula through DONA in 2012, and have kept my certification status since then. I served as a volunteer doula with PDXDOULAS out of OHSU hospital in Portland, Oregon for 7 years, helping the underserved population. I held the position of Board Secretary for this non-profit for several of these years.
We welcomed our daughter in 2016, prematurely and via emergency cesarean. We moved to Spokane in 2017, where I rebirthed my doula practice. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the birth community here.

My husband and I have been happily married for 20+ years. We have 2 children, and spend time each month volunteering in our community. We greatly enjoy the outdoors. Hiking and snow sports are some of our favorite past times. I’m a homeschooling mama who loves to run.
